Wharton Hunt is a family company now in its 21st year of business. Our story began with a focus on furniture restoration, importing high-end antique furniture, works of art, and building custom residential casegoods. Our community of clients ranged from private collectors and museum curators to residential clients and interior designers in cities spanning from coast to coast.
Our early antique furniture restoration work led us into building high-end, reproduction furniture and ultimately custom commissioned, studio-quality furniture. Each piece was meticulously crafted per the client’s request with all eyes on it, making sure that this first and only one was built exactly as imagined. Our job was to listen to and understand the client’s vision and follow their design intent. Our work was to highlight the design intent and bring it to life. We developed the details, engineered the construction, planned the finishes, and readied the design for manufacturing. This focused process is the foundation for our work today. Our hospitality furniture manufacturing today at Wharton Hunt is also a process of planning and preparation and the building of each piece continues to follow carefully prescribed, quality focused manufacturing parameters designed to deliver exceptional results for each project. Each piece that we build today is made to those same standards for residential comfort and quality along with the high-grade commercial durability needed for contract use.
By working with Wharton Hunt you will receive the benefits of two decades of experience from a quality-centric furniture manufacturer, with an ever-present focus on detail and a core mission to deliver our very best possible work to you. We will be driven to create your vision, as you intend it. We will bring your designs to life!
